innovación educativa para el desarrollo regional en la educación superior

Resumen

La investigación analizó el impacto del autoaprendizaje sostenible en entornos asincrónicos como estrategia de innovación educativa orientada al desarrollo regional en la educación superior. El objetivo consistió en determinar de qué manera las plataformas digitales asincrónicas favorecieron la autonomía académica, la continuidad educativa y el fortalecimiento de competencias digitales en estudiantes universitarios. La metodología se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño descriptivo, de campo, no experimental y transeccional. La población estuvo conformada por 120 estudiantes de la Facultad de Informática, Electrónica y Comunicación del Centro Regional Universitario de Panamá Este (CRUPE) de la Universidad de Panamá. Para la recolección de la información se utilizó un cuestionario estructurado con escala tipo Likert, validado mediante juicio de expertos y con una confiabilidad de α = 0.87. Los resultados evidenciaron una percepción favorable respecto al fortalecimiento de la autonomía académica, la flexibilidad educativa, el acceso a recursos tecnológicos y el desarrollo de competencias digitales mediante el aprendizaje asincrónico. Asimismo, los participantes reconocieron que estas modalidades ampliaron las oportunidades de acceso y permanencia en la educación superior. La discusión permitió identificar que la sostenibilidad educativa dependió de la integración de tecnologías accesibles, estrategias pedagógicas adecuadas y apoyo institucional continuo. Se concluyó que el autoaprendizaje sostenible en entornos asincrónicos constituyó una alternativa pertinente para promover la innovación educativa, fortalecer la inclusión y contribuir al desarrollo regional mediante modelos formativos flexibles y centrados en el estudiante.
